Photography of images that remind me of magnetic fields

Artist Inspiration – Karl Blossfeldts
The radial pattern created by the even spacing of these leaves reminds me of the hemisphere created by the iron shards. There is order in the forms of plants. The only difference is scale. The plant is much larger than the magnetic structures. Scale is an important factor when we compare things.

This plant has no one stem, but rather many small stems with small shoots. Each stem is different in length, has a different number of shoots and stands at a different angle. But the plant’s overall look is one hemisphere made up of lots of strands. These stands come together and are viewed as one body.

The concentric rings from this tree trunk that increase in magnitude as they get further from the origin show the same ordered pattern as magnetic fields.

This is just a common weed I found on side of a road, but even a weed shows elements of order.
We hate weeds. We try to kill them and so destroy natural order, while we try to make our own order.
